I’m Russell Bertolette, and I have been creating designs and illustrations to enhance my clients’ images since 1982. My art teacher at Taft high school gave me the nickname, “Berto,” and it was partly in tribute to him that I named my company Berto Graphics.
My brother-in-law Dale, now working at White Wave in Boulder, got me started in the graphics business, and I will always be grateful to him for his guidance and support in the early years.
Currently I live in Evergreen, Colorado, with my beautiful wife Tammy, and the cats Penelope and Queequeg. I still hold dear the memory of Chevrolet, one of the first and finest cats in my life. Some day I hope to get a bigger place and have more animals around. (Get a pet and enrich your life.)
My other pursuits include reading the Tarot cards, playing the saxophone and clarinet for the Dances of Universal Peace, drawing cartoons, skiing (most often at Winter Park / Mary Jane), hiking, swimming, playing golf and taking long walks at night in the moonlight... ;-)
I dream of getting my pilot’s license, hanging a series of my paintings in a gallery, and playing my saxophone in a jazz band, and other things I haven’t done.
By now you will have noticed a number of links on this page. Enjoy visiting them and come back whenever you like. And I enjoy receiving your feedback, so feel free to drop me a line!
